Prayer of Invitation
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:16-18
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word [the message, the basis] of faith which we preach— 9 because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him [whoever adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] will not be disappointed [in his expectations].” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer]. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord [in prayer] will be saved. Romans 10:8-13
Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released,
that the blind will see,
that the oppressed will be set free,
19 and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come." Luke 4:18 and 19
3 In those days John the Baptist came to the Judean wilderness and began preaching. His message was, 2 “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Matthew 3:1 and 2
If you are feeling as if there is no one who cares; stuck in a place of hurt year after year after year; searching for peace and a rest from your heavy burdens; you're sick in your body; all alone or misunderstood; tired of living the way you are living; know there must be more to life; empty and you know there must be something you were born to do - then, this day you can be made whole. Jesus Christ is just waiting for you to call on Him and He will hear your soul cry out. You cannot fix your life all by yourself. Jesus Christ is the way. He promises you that He loves you and will be there for you because He will never leave you and he will not abandon you.
We are all praying for you. Jesus has already prayed for you and He wants you to know that YOU are so loved and so precious to him. He feels your pain. His Word promises us whoever will accept Him into their heart that He will come to you because He cares for every single soul.
Below are a few scriptures for you to read and we pray that as you read them you will stop looking everywhere for what you need to feel whole and loved. Believe that it is ALL found in Jesus. Begin to pray. Jesus is pleading with you to come to him in faith believing that He is God's Son, and if you tell him that you believe that He is who He says he is, and that you are ready to turn away from living in sin and shame I promise you, He will hear you and in your heart you will feel His touch. He said you will be saved. He will be your personal Savoir now! Today!
Repeat these words as you pray to the Father my sister, my brother,
Lord I want to live my life with you. I don't want to live in sin any longer and I need you to help me. I believe that you really are the Son of God. I believe that you died for me because you love me and that you rose from the grave and you live in Heaven with God. I believe this in my heart and I am speaking it to you in this prayer from out of my mouth.
By your confession and your faith in your heart that Jesus is your Savior you are NOW SAVED!
Now, pray and ask God to show you where He wants you to go. Let Him lead you to a bible teaching church where you can begin to grow in your daily walk with Jesus as one of of His own. You will need the suport of other true believers to help you grow closer to God.
